Short definition: consciousness

Long definition:

(i) that aspect of human psychology that expresses reason, focus, aggression, single-mindedness, objectivity, self-awareness, consistency and idealism.

(ii) that part of us that takes us a step beyond our animal heritage.

(iii) a rare thing.

Masculinity is most often directly associated with biological males, and whilst this is generally reasonable, it is not a completely accurate view of the matter. Masculinity, like femininity, is an aspect of mind, and one possessed, in varying degrees, by members of both genders.
